The depths of your heart could be a pretty pure place to go. I used to believe it's a place of intense misunderstanding and where the past lived, but I have come to find that it's most certainly a place of honest purity.
These thoughts and emotions that I feel within have been claimed by others to be intense and for some reason I have experienced some sort of negativeness with this word. Perhaps it's the way that I am taking it? Perhaps it's the way that I translate that word? However, I am absolutely starting to find that this emotional intensity about life is essentially simpleness manifesting itself.
I am hooking up and linking into the purity of a number of these feelings that I haven't absolutely experienced before. Maybe that's the idea right there - completely experiencing emotions.
When we shut ourselves off from experiencing negative feelings we also shut ourselves off from experiencing the wide array of positive ones as well. The deepest part of your heart can be a place where you can go to comprehend the truths about yourself instead of a place you've got to be scared of. In this place, there exist lessons of love and enthusiasm. Why would you not want to go there?
I think we are terrified of this place possibly because we have experienced how wild and intense a number of these deep emotions we go through are and that really scares the hell out of us. For who knows what reason, we are taught to keep a lid on ourselves and not stray too far outside the middle because that's the secure place to play. No, I'd rather climb giant trees and travel into unknown lands than take no risks.
That game is not for me...the playing it safe game in life.
The deepest part of your heart can become a place that you go to understand the intricacies and perplexities of this life. There are very many things that we don't understand about what is happening in this world because we can't see them. Often, you have to run on true faith. You have to be willing to put your feet forward, one after the next directly into the dense thick fog and function on that faith. Will it be frightening? You can bet your money on it. Will it be worth it? Oh completely. Time and time again you should travel into your heart to find your true self and start to function in a way that is truly connected and present with the world. If you can try that, there is no cap on what you may become.
So what will it be today?
