You've Got To Want It More Than You Are Afraid Of It

By Evan Sanders

You have got to truly want it more than you are afraid of it not happening.

Each day, we have occasions to grow, change, and rise to the challenge in life. What could seem like another day is basically a great opportunity to do something fantastic. True, most of the days we have may start as ordinary, but our plans that we have for ourselves, if implemented, can truly turn something lackluster into something, well, incredible. It takes effort. A lot of effort. Everything in the world will certainly be pushing you to just stay the same. Because that's where the majority of us are. We live in the middle. Not in the sense of classes etc, but in the sense of what we are doing with ourselves. When we start adventuring towards the edge, that's when things become exciting. However , simultaneously, that's when the doubt of the future becomes greater and bigger. You've got to choose for yourself if you will be OK living in a place of doubt and yet be committed to total belief in what you're actually doing. Trust me, it's hard.

Call it the universe, call it God, call it whatever it is that you want to call it, but the fact remains the same. You are here for a sound reason and you have skills that have to be drilled into abilities. What ends up happening though is that we worry too much about what other folks think and we begin to worry that what we are doing isn't going to occur due to one reason or another.

Much of the time, the best ideas ideas die with the people that they live in. Lots of people take their dreams to the grave and never see them through because they are just too scared. Fear is the most important killer of dreams. This is going to be fear of failure, fear of opinions, fear of ridicule...nonetheless, fear drives one to shrink in the break they have.

It really would be foolish for me to say to not be afraid. Any person that honestly says that they don't get scared should probably consult a medical practitioner. It is what you do after being afraid that counts. Here's where true courage comes in. Courage is that loony 20 seconds after being deathly scared where the true magic occurs. It's completely fine to be fearful, but like I have claimed before, you have to reall want it more than you are afraid of it. You have to decide that it's what you want and then be white-hot and enthusiastic about it. Without that call, you'll flounder back and forth for forever. Decide.

Be driven by everything and everybody letting you know...no. Make that your fuel. Be careful not to let it bring you down. Let it motivate you to keep going. The people that make the most important difference in this world are the ones who don't let the outside world effect their souls belief in their dreams. Protect your dreams with dragons, guards, and trolls. Do whatever you can to keep them safe and harbour that belief. You'd be surprised how simple it is to let a voice or an opinion dig its way into your heart and then slowly burn everything inside. Only let people and words that continue your infectious belief in your purpose enter into your heart.
