Becoming one professional military lawyer may involve two careers such as Judge Advocate General Corps and JAG Corps and combining them. To be a one officer of the General Corps should have the following opportunities for certain officers, career, duties, and respect for providing high quality services to a duty serviceman and woman. Officers in JAG Corps are those professional lawyers with necessary skills in handling service community members, legal issues, and trained leaders.

The professional lawyers are people being involved to broad cases that are about the international and operational law, the fiscal and the contract law, the administrative and the civil law, and the military justice. This can be a very great opportunity for careers of the young lawyers in Evergreen, CO that have interests to challenge themselves to different fields. Here are the following areas that are involved in the military law practice Evergreen CO.

First, criminal law. The judge advocates can act as defense counsel or prosecutors in courts martial. And after they can obtain their experiences in trial level, they can act as an appellate counsel. Second, legal assistance. Those who are working in the legal assistance will provide counsel to the retirees and soldiers, and even to their families about the issues. Issues may include family acts, estate planning, consumer protection, etc.

Third, civil litigation. All the cases in which the army is affected, the judge advocates will prepare and will investigate about the case for a trial with the coordination of justice departments in local places. Fourth, administrative laws. They also are the representation of the army for the administrative hearings and also for the federal courts.

Sixth are the international laws. Questions are arising and this is due to foreign law and international agreement interpretation. Ninth are medical laws. There are some specializations about the legal problems about research, hospital administration, and medical practices. Also, they are involved in the following matters. Matters include medical malpractice claim, risk management program, human subject researches, and health care professional credentialing.

Tenth, contract laws. The army are dealing with large amounts of contracts as being part of the budget. So the purpose of advocates is to review these contracts for the services, research and development, supplies, and construction. They may also render the legal opinions of bid protests, contract appeal dispute, procurement procedures, and contract terminations.
