How New Moms Can Exist Together Along With Nannies

By Mac B Stevens

I suppose I wasn't at all prepared for the duties which came with having an infant. Up until my baby's arrival, I had lived a somewhat sheltered life. When my husband and I came back home along with Lauren, I began having anxiety attacks over the way to take care of her.

Josh was fast to suggest a baby sitter even if it was only until I got used to becoming a mother. My mommy agreed and advised me to acquire an alarm clock with hidden camera. She explained she had performed the very same with me, her eldest. She obtained a nanny and a nanny cam.

Well now, that was twenty-odd years ago, but then monitoring cams have long made places and also men and women protected. I didn't believe any hired help would like security cameras being on to them, though, unless of course they didn't have any idea it was taking place.

Mom's pick of a color video camera hidden inside a 100% functioning clock radio was dead-on. This is one of those surveillance video cameras with an integrated digital video recorder. They record right out of the box, without any installation required, since the recording system is preinstalled within.

Right after getting the clock radio nanny video camera, I set its motion-activated DVR to record only once movement was discovered. I turned motion detection area masking on to be able to blind the camera's view partially in order that mundane actions wouldn't trigger the motion sensor.

Considering that the alarm clock's power cord supplies electrical energy also to the DVR as well as the camera, our new baby sitter had no idea this clock is a covert camera. I reviewed the footage every night in the bedroom, and my hubby checked them with me every time he could.

DVR made playback super easy. I could place the free 8GB SD card straight into the SD card reader on my personal computer. Or I could obtain the furnished RCA cable to attach the camera to our bedroom TV.

Our alarm clock with hidden camera gave us a well-substantiated reason to let that very first nanny go. This gave way to another sitter, and she stays with us up until now that Lauren is about to turn three.
