Extraordinary Myths Of The Weeping Statue Virgin Mary

By Matthew Hayes

Believers usually have different beliefs that are related to the doctrines of their faith. A good example is the Weeping Statue Virgin Mary that has made many people be bewildered. This happened in the Hobbs Catholic Parish in New Mexico. The sculpting was noticed to be weeping by some believers. Many people have been astonished because they have never witnessed anything like this before. This has attracted many onlookers, and some of the believers have started to pray around the sculpting, claiming that this is a miracle form the most high. The molding has also attracted many visitors from all over the world. The following are some myths attached to the crying molding.

Most people claim that the tears of the molding are olive and balsam oil. This mixture of oils is typically used by the Catholic bishop to carry out particular rituals in the church. Due to this, most believers continue to gather at the molding to pray for healing and blessings.

So many other crying moldings have been discovered in the Catholic faith for centuries. Therefore this is not the first one to be found. In 1953, believers discovered that the state of Madonna in the city of Syracuse was crying. This molding was made of plaster and has been shedding tears ever since. Additionally, several other crying sculptures have been discovered in Macedonia, Hungary, and Argentina. This shows that this phenomenon is not new in Catholicism.

The people that can appreciate and connect the miracles and the holy Virgin Mary are the only ones who can purely understand why these moldings are weeping. Thus, you have to be a believer to understand this phenomenon. The Catholics believe that this woman begot Jesus Christ. This naturally makes her the blessed mother of God. Therefore, she is powerful and can perform so many miracles.

She is therefore very powerful and can perform so many miracles. For example, she is believed to have caused the victory of the Lepanto battle in 1951. Believers believe that her intercession made the battle to be successful. Thus, more believers continue to intercede through her. This is because they believe that she will make them emerge as victors in their battles.

Catholic believers believe that the tears shed by this sculpting are significant in their faith. They believe that the holy woman is continuously crying for the sinful nature of humans and the world at large. Also, she is shedding tears because she went through great pain while on earth. These include the seven sorrows, including the crucifixion and death of Christ.

The oils, olive, and balsam have a unique scent that is used to portray her. This holy woman is referred to as the rose without thorns by believers. This is why most believers have turned the sculpting to a praying object because they believe that this is a sign from God.

Nevertheless, it is the work of the local bishop to run an investigation whenever a molding starts crying. The bishop creates a committee that runs the investigations. This committee evaluates the supernatural happenings of the crying molding, using the guidelines and standards of the Vatican doctrines to tell whether the tears are genuine or not.
