The Concealed Weapons Laws And Why You Should Not Be Caught Off-guard

By Larry Kelly

When being stopped by law enforcement for a traffic stop and you are carrying a firearm, it's always wise to stand in the officers shoes and view the situation from the officer's perspective. The following steps on how to deal with law enforcement during a traffic stop isn't in the Florida 790 statutes, in fact the statute is pretty fuzzy on how an individual is expected to interact with law enforcement. Here's where we're going to apply a little common sense to make our lives easier. There is a lot we can discuss about the concealed weapons laws and the gun laws as well.

The reality is that mostly men will buy a gun. If they want to carry a concealed weapon it will require getting a permit. Today, many citizens are afraid of guns and they don't like violence. It is okay in a movie or in a television program, but not in real life. Nice people don't have to protect themselves, which is what the police are there for. That is the prevailing attitude of the general public. Let the police handle it. Yet some people are still feeling it is important to be purchasing pepper spray for personal protection instead of buying a gun, let alone getting a permit to carry one.

Since the new gun laws won't really affect the preppers too much, the question you should ask yourself is where are you in your preparations for a natural catastrophe or civil unrest?

It is pretty straight forward. Assuming that you exist in any of the areas recorded above you should not have the ability to lawfully possess one. Those states moreover convey pretty hardened disciplines assuming that you are gotten with one.

So, if the new gun laws cause you to take action and make a firearms purchase and get some extra ammunition more quickly, then that will be good for you. However, don't let it all distract you from job one: getting food and other supplies readied.

The Florida legislature understands that we are living in a dangerous crazy world, and they do not want their residents to feel like they are not able to protect themselves for fear of legal ramifications. The is why they created a law which gives every person in the state the right to defend themselves by whatever means necessary should they have reason to believe that their life is being threatened.

It is up to every citizen of Florida to know and understand that regulations of gun control. There are several new laws that are in place that were created in order to make sure that the rights of gun holders are protected as well as the citizens that are not in a position to protect themselves.

Not surprisingly, state gun regulations vary greatly from state to state. Most gun regulation focus on three categories: (1) laws prohibiting the possession of firearms by certain people; (2) laws regulating the sale and transfer of firearms; and (3) the possession of firearms in public places.
