In court reporting, it is a job that is in the verge of being stolen by the machines. Having digital recorders can be the perfect ordeal for that job. Court reporters are assigned to generate verbatim transcriptions of proceedings, events, meetings, conversations, and legal documents. We all know that keeping written documents is essential in legal transactions. This profession needs to jot down the exact words as it can be an asset of evidence for the lawsuit.

Voice writing is a process in which the reporter would have to talk to an instrument called stenomask. A reporter has to state everything she heard into the apparatus. To come up with a comprehensive legal transcription, the writer should identify the identity of the speakers and note the entirety about them.

Everything means to include gestures, emotional responses, and sounds created by the judge, attorneys, and the people present there. To sum it up, you have to listen to the proceedings, and reiterate what you hear. Once the proceeding is over, the written transcription should be prepared.

In the fortieth decade of the nineteenth, this process has begun coupled with the stenomask. Often called as silencer, the purpose of it is quite obvious. It silences the voice of the user as it tallies the stated transcripts. Its voice it silenced as it may disrupt the proceedings. Also, the device is installed with a micro microphone and a noise shrinking item. Then, the device will be attached to a computer that has voice recognition software which aids the generation of words into a transcript file.

Also, the finalization of steno will take longer than the voice writing method. Results are also more precise and polished. This benefit enables them to get more assignments done and quicker time for edits.
