It has been surveyed that about 80% of the western world people are affected by this disease. The genital warts may occur once or more during an average life and prevalence of the condition is considered to be common as well.

The root cause of these warts is the Human Papilloma Virus or HPV. There are different species of this HPV virus and some species are really virulent and malicious. Such warts may be observed in the body of th patients for any duration of time, depending upon the latency period of three days to three years of the HPV virus infection. The infected person may not notice these warts in the early days of the infections. So, considering the severity of the infections in an important of a body, now comes the million dollar question - how to remove genital warts?

There are certain methods of treatment for these warts. The treatment may be expensive and time taking depending upon the condition of the infections in the genital region. The treatment may be done by applying the chemicals directly to the warts, which is very painful for the patient. There are also treatments done by the surgical methods and laser applications. The treatment may take few minutes or hours but the curing of the warts may take several weeks and often several months. The mere question how to remove genital warts is not the real deal, though asking the same to others to seek treatment may make the patient feel embarrassed.

There are many treatments that can be used in order to get rid of this problem. Many doctors use lasers in order to burn the warts off. There is also a such thing called liquid nitrogen that they use in order to freeze them off. Yes, some of those techniques can cause scaring, but those bumps will no longer be there, which will allow you to have a great peace of mind.

Another way to get this virus under control is to actually remove the warts that are already present. This will damage the HPV DNA in the skin of the genital region and as a result the warts that you have will disappear and new ones will not be able to grow. To do this yourself you need to apply a substance that is going to damage the wart. If you visit the doctor, they will apply TCA, liquid nitrogen or other similar substances. There are products in your home that you can apply to the wart to remove it. The substances in your home are more natural that the ones at the doctors and they also do not hurt as much.
