Strike And Strike Again

By Evan Sanders

You can either let fear motivate you to move forward or let it destroy your dreams.

So, if you don't come ready to fight for what you really want in life, you're going to lose to it. This is just the reality. However, there is a way you can start to tackle your big dreams in life and combat fear.

Eric Thomas, a famous motivational speaker, has this fantastic speech where he talks about the undeniable fact that if you strike at a tree in 1,000 different places nothing much will happen. But if you strike at a tree 1,000 times in the very same place, that tree will fall.

In order to bring your dreams to reality, you have to develop a concrete plan that you are going to stick to and strike over and over at it until it comes to life. Sure, there will be times where you wonder what's going to happen in the future, but bring yourself back to your daily actions that are going to help you become successful. Bring yourself back to striking at the same point to bring that dream into a reality.

Why? Because when you stay focused and stay persistent, you are going to find a way to make it happen. Further, it also brings a sense of belief into your life that you've never experienced before because you will see that dream through.

Every single time you stretch yourself and go after things you've never had you learn more and more about yourself. You begin to understand that you have more abilities and effort available to turn yourself into something great. Yes, it may take months, years, or decades to accomplish your goal, but if you continue to believe in yourself it will happen.

Work on tackling your vision every single day.

We all are capable of so much and yet we do not really go after it for one reason or another. We must. We must give our gifts to the world - it should be no other way. So make the choice to be the king of your world. Tackle those big dreams with vigor and persistence. Never give up.

Who knows what might happen?
