How To Develop A Photographic Memory

By Karen Long

It is needless to say that proper storage capacity is highly beneficial and has myriad advantages. Efficient memories see to it that amazing memories are captured and remembered easily even in the future. Our lives would be exponentially boring and dull were it not for memorable moments and interesting experiences in our lives, and these can be reminisced by dint of super effective memory capacities. The following discusses the easiest methods of how to best develop a photographic memory.

It is very essential to equip yourself with the very important skill of developing pictured memories. There are many sorts of developing these techniques. One of them is learning to improve your overall memory, by using simple creative means. If you are tired of using cue cards in speeches, then you need to internalize these skills. You will in the end have astonishingly effective and impressive memory capacities.

Essentially, the brain runs or rather better remembers through pictures. For instance if someone told you to memorize a person called baker, and another told you to recall that a certain person was in actual sense a baker, in the ultimate you are likely to remember the baker by profession, rather than the person named so. This further endorses the scientific fact that the brain naturally ponders and recalls in picture-form.

Things that can be pictured are the ones that are properly retained by the brains. Based on this reason, therefore, it is very salient to always associate or liken them with pictures in your mind. The wilder or ridiculous they are, the better. Ultimately, you will have an amazingly sterling memory.

Brains think and remember in pictures. For example, if you told somebody to remember someone named baker, and you told somebody else to master that someone was actually a baker, there is an extremely high likelihood that the person you told to remember the person named baker will have forgotten, while the one you told to remember a baker will remember.

The other method is the military technique. This particular system takes at least a month to master, and must also be practiced on daily basis. Missing a day of practice retreats you by a week. This process requires a dark room, and you should be free from any distractions. Additionally, you need to have a ceiling or bright lamp in the room. A windowless bathroom is ideal.

Then, you should be at a position whereby you will have very easy access to the lamp, whereby you can turn it on and off without necessarily having to stand up. From there, you can get the book or content you want to memorize and cover it with a piece of paper, leaving only one paragraph exposed. Then adjust the distance of the book and your eyes so that upon opening and closing of the eyes, they instantly focus on the words.

By frequently repeating this process, you will have exemplarily memorized all details in the material. It is an utterly powerful exercise, that sees to it that you can swiftly look through a text and you are able to visualize the actual imprint in your brain.
