Representation By A Gender Discrimination Lawyer San Bernardino CA

By Christopher Evans

Gender is a noun defining one being male or female while on the other hand discrimination is the act of handling a group of people in an unjust way that is unusual from other group of people. In the easiest way possible, gender favoritism is the act of treating a group of people in a different way based on their gender. In many cases, this includes treating people of the opposite gender unjustly since they are believed to be weaker than others and for this one should get a Gender Discrimination Lawyer San Bernardino CA to represent them in a lawsuit.

When we look deeper into this issue of the unfair ways that is as old as the rocks; it have been a long journey that is yet to be concluded. The act has been there from when man was cursed by God and forced to work in order to acquire his daily bread. Women have been discriminated in many cases since there are a series of duties they are not supposed to attend to reason behind this is they are believed to be of the weaker generation.

There are several issues of discrimination that are yet to be buried by the society since they have been there even during the past years. These issues include sex discrimination, work discrimination and pregnancy discrimination all experienced in the society. The undeveloped countries face a high rate of these cases since education which can make the issue diminish is not taken seriously.

These types of unjust treatment to different groups of people when scrutinized carefully we find out that there is work that is set aside for different genders based on how superior or inferior they are believed to be. This act have been there since time memorial whereby women were believed that their main work was giving birth to young ones and taking care of their families. There were some of the duties which were prohibited to women since they were considered weak for the work.

Pregnancy discrimination is also common in the present world whereby we find expectant ladies are not hired. Employees have reasons of not allowing these ladies to their work places. The reasons include; fear of less production due to absent employees, lack of adequate funds to cater for the employees who are hired temporarily to fill the gap left by the expectant ones who go for a leave and so on.

The fight for gender inequality has been rampant since time changes and so do the things that happen in the present world. Education has brought light that was not there before especially in the developing countries where these cases are rampant. When the citizens are educated the level of which these unfair acts take place is very minimal since education sheds off the dark past and beliefs.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel so goes the adage. There are a number of ladies who have beaten all odds of these uncivilized acts and managed to rise in the tower of popularity since they had treasured education. The Kenyan Nobel Prize winner who was well known for treasuring and taking good care of the environment who goes by the name Wangari Maathai and Joyce Banda the first female president of Malawi are a good examples.

Governments from every corner of the world should spear head women education for a better tomorrow. Knowledge is power and these ladies will be vital to the society. Discriminating them calls for shuttered hopes and dreams.
