By Amy Scott

Photographic memory is known with another name as an eidetic reminiscence and defined as the ability to surprisingly recall vibrant sounds and images well. This type of memory is hard to develop but is possible to create one. There is history behind developing a photographic memory. The myth says capturing images in the mind does not interfere with the operation of the brain since it cannot be faulted.

People who achieve this are those who has no hurry and who awaits for the right time for them to gain the necessary capability. There is no interference of your day today activities of your brain but it only strengthens your thinking capacity. It is possible to practice on this and still work on other things which will make it possible to test you mind.

People who are born with this type of memory are able to grow it to a high level if their abilities are discovered on time. This is because they do not have to test themselves but they only have to improve their skills. Some of these people are able to tell something which happened years ago very well without leaving any detail like it happened yesterday.

You can get all the information on developing your recollection from different websites which offer instructions on the task. This task requires a lot of patience and practice to make your mind used for recording everything you see. The other way to do this is by having several mental works and tests every time you are free while trying to recall something you say in the morning.

A palace is a name given to the place you choose that you know everything about. This place can be home, your route to coffee shop, school where you know most of the details. To test how much you can remember, place a shopping list on the table in the house and walk out. Sit down and close your eyes and try to remember how to get in the house step-by-step till you reach to the paper.

The second tip is to test you call to mind capability. Place anything on the table and move out to recall the details, close your eyes and think of your palace. Try to remember every detail and if you do not remember everything, do not be discouraged, move on. Try as many times as possible to see if you can increase the number of details you bring to mind.

Write a note and place it in the palace and close your eyes and recall the image of the note and where you have placed it in the palace. This is the third step which will help on how you can walk from the door to the note. Try this for as many times as possible till you get it right in your brain.

Being in this training for a long time and now you can trust your mind, it is time to go the final test. You are supposed to refresh your mind and think of a particular date, think about it and try to recall every activity you performed that day. If able to do this without leaving anything behind, it means you have gained all the skills and can now rely on your brains forever.
