How To Burn Off Fat, Not Muscle - The Right Steps

By Andrew Gates

If you have been having trouble trying to burn fat without losing muscle, we understand. Lots of other people have the same annoyance with it. It does not have to be annoying achieving this kind of goal. You need the right information to see this through and your dedication plus commitment. If you have difficulty with sticking with an exercise program, then we suggest that maybe you have not found one you really enjoy doing. If you enjoy exercising then you will not mind doing it, as you're finding it fun. Once you start to see positive results you should look forward to exercising.

Those who are really wanting to lose some fat can do one of the best proven exercise techniques of interval training. A variety of exercises can be used to do this. A jumping rope, treadmill or a bike (either stationary or real) could be used for example.

Fat loss can and will be achieved when doing cardio exercises like long distance running. However, if you want to do it in the most effective manner, then the long distance approach is not what you want to do. Here we're making a distinction with the 'most effective' method of losing fat.

Drinking water during the day is important for numerous reasons. We're not saying you should drown yourself in water, but it would be a good idea to drink 8 pints of water daily. The reason as to why this is good for fat loss is that the water will make you feel like you're full up. So the intention here is to try and avoid snacking or drinking anything that contributes toward your fat content. Also, maintaining the proper levels of hydration will enable you to have the right energy levels. Drink some water instead of drinks containing caffeine and then observe your energy levels. You'll have more productive workouts if you have more energy.

If you've got more energy your exercise will be a lot more productive. Both complex carbs and this type of sugar will be turned into fat rather quickly. Glucose, fructose and sucrose are just a few examples of simple sugars. However we need to just mention something about the fructose that's contained in fruits. Fruits are still recommended to be consumed, even though they have a simple sugar, because they hold some very beneficial ingredients. Fiber, antioxidants, minerals and vitamins can all be found in fruits. We've seen various ways of maintaining lean muscle mass whilst burning off fat with some scientific and common sense approaches. Everything works even working out using the schwinn recumbent exercise bikes is perfectly fine; just try to apply some common sense with things though.
