What's the Deal With Advocare's 24 Day Challenge

By B. Gregory Sloan

I have definitely never been a big proponent of multilevel marketing strategies. I tend not to like my good friends trying to sign me up to market products considering that I am definitely the worse salesperson on the planet. Besides, I can rarely get anybody to allow me to give them a little something for free. Uh huh, I'm that bad. I also remember the days as a teenager needing to sell merchandise for school and church to get funds for camps, etc. I usually trusted my parents would bail me out given that I would likely have numerous products unsold. I was way too shy to go house to house and trouble a person by compelling them to purchase a product from shy guy. However, a MLM product line did ultimately come my way because my son got me into a quick and healthy weight loss program called the Advocare 24 day Challenge. However, a bit more about that in a moment.

What helps someone to be a good belly to belly seller? I've seen them. I suspect it's individuals with super dispositions, the skill to verbally relate well, and typically aren't worried about rejection. Well, that's three strikes for me. Although I have been involved with quite a bit of blogging on the internet, my articulation proficiencies tend to be more effective when I'm using my keyboard than when my mouth is moving & sentences are coming out. (And you are probably reading this and thinking - "you really aren't doing really well with the communication style on the page either, mister)."

And what makes it a lot worse, I happen to be a minister. And, as you might agree, if you're in the ministry, you really need to believe that you have the most wonderful information in the world that everyone should hear. And I have to ability to stand up in front of hundreds of people in the church and sing a song or preach a sermon and actually not be so shy. However, when I am making an one on one visit to folks that I do not know well, I'm still sometimes kind of like a shy little boy. What is my problem with that? But this has consistently been my personality.

Well now, let me go back to the Advocare topic for a moment. Although it's absolutely secondary to my ministerial responsibilities, I do enjoy being an Advocare distributor. My college age son had marketed the company's health and fitness supplements for quite a few years (which really helped provide extra funds while at the university), but the only thing my wife and I did about the Advocare products was use them. Of course, I was really skeptical in the beginning, but we finally tried the Advocare 24 Day Challenge. It made such an improvement in our overall level of fitness, energy levels, and we shed a lot of pounds in only twenty four days. So, we were definitely sold on those products.

So, last year we finally decided that since we were going to continue using it, then we were not just going to get the benefits of the health supplements, but also, make a little money. And that is what we are doing. With Advocare a person generate income by marketing the products and recruiting. Does Annette have better success than the shy guy here? Yes, actually. But that's certainly okay with me. I know that the merits of these products are so good, even someone like me can market them!

So, if you are a shy salesperson, just make really sure that your product is a very strong one and works well. I'm glad ours does.

Let's help people AND make some cash!
