The Need For Christian Blog Sites

By Rosetta Drake

Christians can feel alone and isolated if they don't connect with others of the same faith. It is a cruel world, and one needs to form a community in order to grow their faith. One way of doing this is by reading Christian blog sites because there are lots of other people just like you doing the same thing.

In saying this, you also have to be selective about where you go. There are some blogs that are mediocre and others that stand out as being very good. There are authors who are well known and blog every week and these are the sites which you should be looking out for.

In this day and age, it is not always possible to make time to get to a Sunday service or even to get to bible study, especially looking at the busy routines that go along with the lives that one leads. Even if you do make it to church, it is nice to connect with more people and get that extra encouragement from various blogs. Sometimes you don't feel comfortable confronting someone next to you on a pew, but this is completely anonymous. You could do this on a daily basis as well.

You will find that the average blog site is very cruel and there are many people who can be aggressive. If you leave a comment, someone will come back with a vindictive comment and this can often be hurtful, especially if you are the sensitive type. This is why you have to look around for the right type of blogs.

Many kids are victims of being cyber bullied because other kids have not been taught how to behave and this just tells you how cruel it can be. This is why it is important to have Christian blogs where you can get to know others and grow as a person. You will find that there is a lot to learn by reading some of these on a weekly basis.

There are many expert authors where you can come and connect with and you will find that this is a lot better than actually reading one of their books. You will get to know them as they leave comments. You may even get to know them on a personal level. You can sign up for their newsletters and keep an eye out for their social media activity.

There are famous leaders and evangelists in the Christian faith which have blogs and many people support them. The nice thing about this is that their writing is free. It is also more personal than writing a book because you won't have to put it back into the bookshelf once you have finished with it. If you have a problem with the writing or you have enjoyed it, you can comment on that. You will probably get something back if the author is not too busy.

Forums are also something which you see on these blogs and they are a great way of connecting with Christians because you will find others who share the same views as you. You will gain support and encouragement. Of course, you can also debate certain issues, but this depends on the Christian blog sites that you go to. Each one is unique and you will have to find one that appeals to you most
