Ways Of Successfully Reinventing Your Life And That Of Others

By Martina Garrett

Growing up to become an adult who is responsible does not come easy since the way you were brought up matters a lot. Reinventing your life is a personal decision and no one should influence you to take a different tangent from what you have been previously doing for a number of years. Making this decision involves self actualization and acceptance of the previous deeds you performed and seeing a need to follow another path in life.

Instilling change in a person is not easy especially if the targeted individual is grown up and comfortable with the status. The kinds of lifestyles that people keep up with, their principles and strength to hold on and focus on their targets are some of the factors that contribute to who they become in the society. The saying that you cannot teach old dog new tricks more or less applies to a scenario of trying to completely change the ways of a grown man brought up in a particular life style.

Trust and accountability are traits that really matter on how people in the society perceive you to be and how they can relate to you. Loosing trust is very easy but gaining it back is not easy because convincing people requires a lot of actions than plain words. Laying out a plan and explaining your intentions clearly followed by relevant actions is one way of regaining the trust back.

Having fun is good and there are very many types of entertainments many of which involve indulging in intoxicants such as alcohol. Drugs are addictive if used in large quantities and for a long period of time. Alcoholism is a condition where a person becomes dependent on the liquor and lack of it brings side effects that the person cannot handle while doing normal errands.

Over consumption of anything is dangerous and this applies to even the food we eat to replenish nutrients in the body. The effects may vary from person to person but there are common trends of effects especially for drug addicts. Recklessness, poor judgment ability and bankruptcy are some of the major outcomes of many drug users. It is eminent that such drug abusers who do not take care for themselves cannot have the capacity to take care of anyone else and this greatly affects those with families.

Such irresponsibility is shunned by the society because it brings a burden to others to take care of abandoned family members. Drugs are intoxicating and should be used responsibly; lack of control results to under performance at work and subsequent joblessness. This can be seen through the rising number of jobless youths and single mothers bringing up kids on their own.

Deciding to change may not necessarily be as a result of having bad character. Reforming spontaneously is good especially for those who love adventure and want to know more. The options to change are not limited and entirely depend on your imagination and capability.

There must be a reason why the option of reinventing your life makes sense at one time. Past experiences, behavior and lifestyles are some of the reasons that may persuade people who consciously know they need to change one thing or the other in their life. Best results are met if the reasons are clear and the decision you make to change was not coerced by anyone else.
